  • God Willing tells the story, from her own perspective, of a Palestinian artist who chooses not to wear the hijab. This is a 6 minute short documentary film of visual artist Mais Rosol AbuSaa who lives and works in Nablus, Palestine.

Filmmakers Gayle Embrey and Susan G. Drinker collaborated again on a short film about twelve teenagers who came together this summer to create a mural in Rifle, CO.  This inspiring film is available on vimeo.



Premiere of God Willing

God Willing had its world premiere at the 2016 Aspen Shortsfest on April 6th.  Filmmakers Gayle Embrey and Susan G. Drinker attended the screening and Gayle was onstage afterward to answer questions from the audience.  The audience asked many thoughtful questions about the role of Muslim women in Palestine.
