2005 – El Puente Academy for Peace & Justice, Brooklyn, New York
This mural was designed in collaboration with a science teacher to depict issues around toxicity. The frog represents an environment toxin that causes defects in frogs and is believed to cause genetic defects in humans as well. Another image represents coal mining, strip mining, the mining of mercury and the US addiction to oil. There is also representation in the mural of corn syrup and its effect on childhood diabetes and obesity.
