This mural graphically depicts the abduction, starvation and torture of 30,000 people during the last military dictatorship in Argentina (1976-83), known as The Dirty War. The Dirty War was a period of state sponsored violence in Argentina from 1976 until 1983. Victims included alleged sympathizers from groups of left-wing activists, trade unionists, students, journalists, Marxists and Peronists guerillas.
